While everyone has a favorite animal,  some animals are more popular than others. Most people lavish their affections upon domesticated creatures like cats, dogs, hamsters and horses, or harbour sympathy for endangered species such as pandas, dolphins, and rare burrowing owls. But this website is different.  

Deer are wild and cannot be tamed as pets. Neither can they be harnessed to ploughs or carriages. While other animals gain fame because their numbers are dimishing, the deer suffers from an equally horrible plight: overpopulation. This is the justification many hunters use in shooting these lovely animals and hacking off their antlers as trophies.

Therefore, I aim to colour this website with some informative facts and display the majestic figure that deer have brought to art throughout the ages.
